IIJIMA Momoyo

In 2011, I completed the doctoral program of Joshibi University of Art and Design, Graduate School of Art and Design. I have been presenting sculptures and installations made of everyday items such as old clothes, buttons, and tableware, sealed in white paraffin wax and cut out. He has been working on the theme of the relationship between society and the individual, and between the individual and the family.

In recent years, I have been creating sculptures and installations that relate Japanese and international folk tales and myths to the theme of disease and healing. At the same time, I also present drawings made with wax and ink.
